MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES
Because Your Life Matters
91% of people report experiencing a reduction in mental health symptoms they considered troublesome
Is someone requiring you to see someone for "an assessment"? It may be court-ordered or to satisfy DSS requirements. We provide Comprehensive Clinical Assessments (CCAs) that will satisfy any requirement. In addition, a Comprehensive Clinical Assessment is conducted at the start of each service, so we are certain we are addressing all of your clinical needs.
COMPREHENSIVE CLINICAL ASSESMENTS (CCA)
When specific issues or mental health disorders begin to cause distress and interfere with your normal activities, it may be time to seek therapy. Distress can manifest itself in our bodies, our relationships, and our jobs in the form of problematic beliefs, feelings, behaviors and bodily sensations. A therapist can facilitate the process of change through application of evidence-based therapies like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and provide education on how to further achieve and maintain change on your own.
Our therapists will guide you through a win-win problem-solving process to find resolution of each of the issues on which you have been stuck, by teaching skills so the couple or family can handle their subsequent differences collaboratively on their own. No more need either to disengage from each other or to fight.
We understand that there can be many challenges to office-based appointments such as: lack of child-care, transportation, and finances, care-giver responsibilities, symptoms of mental health issues and/or substance use disorders. We now provide all our services via TeleHealth. We provide a link to a Hipaa-compliant Zoom appointment. We will instruct you on how to use this technology. We have had nothing but positive feedback about this easy to use option.
TELEHEALTH ASSESSMENTS, THERAPY now available
When therapy isn't enough to calm depression or anxiety, to stabilize mood swings, or quiet the voices that others can't hear, medications may help. Taking medications is a personal decision. We want you to be informed of all the risks and benefits to adding psychiatric medications to your treatment plan. Through our Collaboration with Coastal MDs we will link you with this service.
